Sioned Thomas (02920748408)

I am originally from near Cardigan in West Wales and my first language is Welsh. I trained to be a Registered Nurse in East Glamorgan Hospital and qualified in October 1999. My first qualified job was on a surgical ward in Llandough Hospital. 3 years later I transferred over to UHW and worked on a General Surgery and Endocrine ward. I moved to SSSU in January 2007 and stayed there until September 2017. Whilst on SSSU my interest in urology developed. I am trained to give Mitomycin and also whilst on SSSU, became the link for the Robotic Prostatectomy work and developed a Robotic Care Pathway.

All five nurses have worked within the Urology Speciality for many years.  They have developed their skills and knowledge and have specialised in caring for people with an urological cancer.  They work Monday 8am to Friday 5pm and can be contacted on the telephone numbers above, an answerphone service is available.
